i think they only make one blanket now that works for either the OEM (as long as the ACV is removed) or the Xcessive LIM.

You have to move the AIT to right before the ports to see a drop. I did it before selling the blankets. Also a recent customer did a back to back dyno with not just a thermal blanket, but shields for all his turbo system. 7rwhp gain.
The stock lim shield also fits the GZ lim. Actually it fits the GZ unit a lot better...

Like Ball joint did, I put heat reflective tape on my LIM, see pics attached. I used Areo-lite silver tape, it's supposed to be the best tape out there, it's more expensive then the dei gold tape but it's supposed to reflect more radiant heat. I removed the LIM so I could do a good job on it. It ended up taking me a good 5-6 hours to do it!! And only on the side facing the stock turbos. After about an hour of doing it and getting very little done, I almost wished I just spent the money on that blanket lol. Maybe I was trying to do too much of a perfect job, but it just took forever, so many little pieces were needed, I cut probably 500 pieces. The tape didn't stick super great, but good enough I think, it stuck to itself really good so you have to overlap it a good bit to hold it all together better. Hopefully it's worth it to keep the radiant heat from warming up the air going through the lim. The easy part was removing the turbos and the LIM haha, but I've done all that before so no big deal.
I think I will also do the ypipe since it sits above the turbos and gets all that radiant heat, and the secondary turbo intake pipe. I'll report back results later.
