Yea a lot of posts were lost when they switched servers (or so it seems)

So that pic was photoshopped, huh? I guess some of you guys have some serious skill, cuz I didn't even notice. Well, I guess that settles it.

Oh, and duals def. are too much on an FD, but I personally can't get the nice look of duals on some cars outta my head (300zx, for example, which are dual dual-tip exhaust hehe). Sweeeeeet!

Look at the rear bumper above the left canister. Note that the reddish reflection is a mirror image of the right side, and you can see the ghost of the right side marker/backup light recess overlaying the real one.

I just installed an HKS carbon-ti tonight and it sounds amazing. Not much louder then stock. Can't really hear it any more at high RPM.

oops lol. Yea I see that. I didn't even bother looking there...

saburo, not much louder than stock?? I'd say you must have a precat and cat or somethin....cuz the HKS carbon ti is LOUD. It's VERY loud w/ a DP & MP...but not in an obnoxious way =)

I sure like the symmetry of having CB on both sides.

On the pettit one, I gotta agree w/ you. It looks hot. I dunno why the other one I saw was wayy too much. Prob cuz I think it had one of the old school huge canister exhausts, like a hks super dragger or greddy somethin (forget what it's called)

I saw the same setup (dual huge cans) on a 3000GT in DC a few months back. Still looked like it was too much. But this FD, it ain't bad at all. I wonder just how much time & $$ it takes to do that...

Batman, you know what else I like? The symmetry of those 305s (or 325s or whatever those huge things are) hehe

PS: anyone notice he's got the efini emblem on upside down?

what do you think a Greddy PE w/DP and MP would sound like?

Sounds the same as it does with a hi-flo cat, just slightly louder. I've heard both (with hi-flo, with midpipe).

i have RB single tip with dp mp it sounds great. im also a fan of the apexi n1 too. dont worry though no matter what exhaust system you bolt on, it will never ever sound like a civic...you have a rotary engine. it has a unique sound to it.good luck finding one!

if you take a good look at that pic, it's a really bad photoshop job. initial glance makes it look like the real thing, but like they pointed out earlier, the reflections above the tips are the same, and you can see the overlay for the backup lights. also, look at the left tire, and just to the left of it, you can see the ghost of where the original tire/fender were. also, just to the right of the left tail-light, you can see the same badge on the right side (not sure if it's the Mazda or RX-7 badge). there is also a ghost in the licence plate recess on the left side.

Yea I didn't look anywhere NEARLY as close as I should have initially. I was too taken back by the dual exhausts and huge tires hehe

haha, ya, the big tires and dual exhaust are very eye catching, i was up late the night before and saw this, so i looked it over real careful (i loose track of time at night) for over an hour, and didn't have the energy to post my findings.

I like mine.

I have 4" downpipe, then a center 4" magnaflow muffler (small), 4" piping to the rear can, whch is a 4" magnaflow muffler as well.

I think it sounds real good. When I rev it up, sounds like an F1 car.
