best intercooler

i did a search, but didnt come up with any results that answered my question:
what is the best intercooler and what is the cheapest?
i have seen some and a lot of the descriptions said that it was for stock turbos...
im sure its been posted before, but i didnt find it. if you know of a thread that can help with this question plz refer me to it.

It really depends on what you will be doing with the car. AutoX, road racing, drag racing, just normal street driving, high HP monster, etc...

There is no "best intercooler". They all have their tradeoffs.

subaru TMIC

ok obviously i dont know what im talking about but this is my attempt to help:

greddy 2 row is probably the best deal for a not too big one for stock twins i think you can get one used for like $700.

my car is going to be for autox/road racing/street driving but since i care too much about looks to get a vented hood(havent seen one i like), vmount wouldnt do that much (or would it?) and i think its a bit overrated. i got an apexi for a great price used, it sits a little back though not like most other FMICs, so maybe it is slightly less laggy(wishful thinking here). but eventually i'm planning on that 20b nonsense everyone talks about so the size of the intercooler will hopefully be ok.

it says for stock twins, is it still ok to use with aftermarket turbos?

you need to explain your setup better then. are you using the stock IC right now?

here is a pic of the stock cross over.

Blitz!

The Blitz FMIC works well and needs very minimal modifications to fit... (unlike some others)...
