Is this on a rebuilt engine or something? If it's a rebuild, make sure to let it warm up, and break it in properly. If it's something else, then please specify.

You can turn the engine over, while holding the gas all the way down to spin the engine over a few times before cranking it. That will get the oil pump goinig. You don't really have to, though.

Pull the fuel pump fuse, and turn it over for a few seconds. then fire it up..

Let it idle for a good 15 minutes. while it is idleing watch for leaks!

And after that turn it off and check for leaks.. if everything is ok, start it back up and take it for a ride. Don't go over 3K for 1000 miles

This engine has used bearings???

if it has new bearings break in should be done for about 3K miles..

That was a question sorry

Most engine rebuilds have used bearings.. Unless you specify you want new ones..

I did that and my engine fired right up. The revs jumped up before I relized what was happening to let off the gas. I have the PFC though.
