VA beep beep beep beep from CPU2 FD01

I did a search and read about coolant sensors, air bags and seatbelt alarms causing some of the beeping. Mine beeps whenever the odometer disappears and stops beeping when it lights back on

Should i check the gauge cluster 1st or the CPU? Everything else seems like its okay

This link should work

when I unplug CPU2, the beep goes away but the odometer is still out. Does CPU2 power the odometer?

Hi,

My CPU2 is also beeping and my gauge clusters odometer and Tachometer are both out. I replaced the water temp sensor as well as CPU2, (Atkins), but beeps remain.

I've been planning on sending cluster to M. Gagne, probably should have done that first before swapping in new parts. Anyhow, just relaying as someone in similar spot to you. When the cluster gets fixed I'll update on beeping status.
