backfire/idle issues still...

So, i started the car and let it warm up about 5 minutes...then I sat there and revved it to about 2k it would stumble if I held the revs there...also, it would backfire and not just make a typical backfire...but a chirping could be heard in the backfire...man...it's GOT to be this TPS...ideas? again, when my car has been driven and is at oper temp, it will idle at about 1100...

about your idle speed, does it hold at 1100 when you have the a/c on, music, headlights, 'ect... On my rx7 ive noticed that it runs at a higher rpm when the ac is on it also run completly lean on idle with the ac on but it fine when the ac is off.

Check if both the intake and outgoing coolant pipes to the choke are clogged. Mind had similar problems and as time got even more and worse till I discovered it.
