Awesome reliability
Now, I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but the car is pretty much done and after two long road trips I haven't had any problems.
Finished the winter long build, new motor, upgraded the supporting mods for the single turbo system, and meth injection.
Drove 5 hours to PFS in Maryland. They tuned it to 454whp, with extremely safe AFR dipping into the 9's and low 10's (100% meth).
It spent an afternoon on the dyno, then I drove it 5 hours home that night.
The next weekend, I took it to my parents house, 7 hour drive (backed up on the highways in I95 and I84, then to I87(northway), through the adirondack mountains for 2 1/2hrs, finally making it there late at night.
Took everyone and their brother for rides, showing them what the high boost can do haha. then drove it back down to CT (only 6 hrs this time, no traffic).
No problems what so ever, except about a mile away from home it started sputtering and wouldn't idle, i had to keep bumping the gas to keep it going at the last few lights. I new I was pushing the gas gauge, filled it up right before I got home (2 blocks) and it was fine after that. That was the first time the gas gauge has gone to E since I got it, now I know the limit haha. Glad I didn't have to push it the last two blocks.
So no reliability issues yet and its been pushed pretty hard on the long trips I've taken it on. I monitor the fluids religiously (well except the gas as per above haha). I love it.

I barely use any meth at all. I think I've used half a gallon, it only turns on at 13psi of boost, and around town and normal driving i only run on 10lbs of boost.
And its only in the 9's as soon as the meth kicks in until around 15 psi, then it creeps up to the low tens at full boost.
using meth cools the charge, you can put your hand on the UIM after a ton of pulls on the dyno and its cold to the touch. It also allows you to play with the timing, and you get great hp numbers at rich AFR's, which brings a bit of safety (well, as long as the meth system doesn't break, your dead meat if it does). I'm running 100% meth, with two 625ml/min nozzles. Thanks to Howard Coleman for all the write-ups, they were a huge help.
My ecu was having some problems when on the dyno and started breaking up and the tach would glitch to 0rpm then snap back up to normal, so we only went to 18psi, so mine may be a little more conservative (rich) AFR-wise than most.
And don't worry, i won't be going low on gas anymore.

Oh, a 5 gallon drum of methanol here is about $40 bucks
And Gordon, there is quite a bit of difference between water and 100%Meth, meth is still a fuel, which is the main reason for the higher AFR's, so we actually tune it up with out it, then subtract gas and add meth, going into the 9's from 13 to 15psi also gives me a chance to notice if something is wrong, for example, if the meth doesn't come on like its supposed to, there is still enough gas in the curve to have an "ok" AFR, I'll still see the difference on the gauge and be able to let off before it pops. But if something goes wrong with the meth system at 18psi I'm pretty sure its over.
Oh and gas mileage was 17.4 mpg, this was with hard pulls through the mountains and on the highway, but also a bit of nice and easy driving, so i'd say its a good average for my driving.

Back to basics

Thats awesome to hear man...I remember those days when I had my twins...I drove from New Orleans to Miami twice (each trip 2000 mile round trip at least) and drove from New Orleans to Houston 6 times (around 600 mile round trip each) all I ever did was check fluids and change oil. Right now I'm in the middle of a single turbo build and hope all goes well to have the same pleasant driving experiences that you had and that I've had when I was with twins.

Well as it gets into the high boost its not so rich, its in the 10's. Although its hard to keep my eye on it when i hit 18psi, so it might creep into the 11's, i'll check for sure next time i take it out.
And I'm pretty sure at the high boost levels the meth isn't burning like gas does and leaving carbon. I also don't have an omp and run 2 stroke in my gas tank, so it doesn't wash away.

Brappable.

I'm glad you're happy with your car, and don't mean to be a cynic, but reliable to me means lasting longer than the average lifespan of the engine. It would be really nice to see someone on here run that same/similar setup for 120k+ Miles successfully. Now thats reliable rotary (LOL).

Yeah, this is the 4th motor in the car and its only got 83k miles on it hahaha. But this is the first one since I've owned it, so hopefully I do a little better than the last few owners. Its just starting its iron man reliability a little late in life
