Arrow on MAP Sensor Check Valve...

That direction is it supposed to be pointing at?
Towards the MAP sensor or away?

It's a filter and it should be pointing towards the MAP sensor.

yeah dont take that filter off the map sensor will not like that
i believe its a gas filter

Yes it does matter. Filters do have a filteration direction.

If you look at the vac diagran on your hood i think it tells you the direction.

Oops, I just looked at the diagram and it says the arrow is pointing away from the MAP sensor. Make sure to look at the diagram to verify that yourself.

sheesh we got stumped on such an easy thing.
forget the arrow just make sure it looks like this. The filter isn't symetric the fat end should be furthest from the map sensor. and yes of course it matters which way it goes if its a filter and a very important one I think.
