I have that exact cupholder in my car from the same guy that did that website. The previous owner of the car had purchased it a few years ago. It's really pretty useful. It holds all sizes of drinks, is convenient, and easy to store in a bin when you're not using it. I didn't pay attention to how much he wants for it, but if it isn't too expensive I'd recommend picking one up.

The stock cupholder from a 1992 Taurus fits perfectly (almost -- had to cut some of the depth off) in the DIN space under the stereo head unit. Cup holder "drawer" slides out. Also has built-in change drawer. All in all, it's pretty useful.
You'll need to move the stereo to the bottom slot, though, b/c otherwise, the shifter hits your drinks.

If I remember correctly the guy who makes the cup holder for the FD sells them for about $60. He adapts a commercially available cup holder to the FD by fashioning an aluminum clip to attach it to the center console.
The better (cheaper) route to go in my opinion is to buy the cupholder and make the clip yourself. That's what I did for a total overall cost of less than $25. You can get the cupholder at the following link:

Once you have the cupholder in hand, fashioning the aluminum clip is straight forward.

i bought one of those cupholders that is supposed to get wedged into the window slot and hang on the door. i paid $2 for it at a local car place, and put it in the crack by the e-brake when im drinkin. its real simalar to that other one for $60 but not as honkey looking, and u can throw it in the back bins when you dont have a drink.

I always found that if you simply remove the change tray (read: ashtray, but smoking in the 7 is a no-no), then the gap left made a decent cupholder...for flat bottom cups anyway
