Exclamation Apexi BodyKit + Cat Question

I'm soon to be getting an RX7 for a company show car, were looking at getting the Apexi BodyKit after seeing it on the D1 Drift car at Max Power Live in July

Does this kit need much work done to the rear arches as looks like this is a wide arch kit, but all i can find online is skirts, front and back bumper !

Where can i buy this kit from ? (Im in UK) but can import in so thats no worryz !
And what is the kid called, i've seen afew made by apexi now !

Im looking at getting a 1994 FD3S RX7 but due to the Cat rules in the UK im abit wary of getting a 94 and may get a 93 if the Cat rules don't apply to that year on jap cars imported... Any ideas here guys ?

Also opionion, Roof scoops on an RX7, am a member of UJCC and people disagree with putting a roof scoop on an RX7 as it will ruin the look !.. Your views (please dont spam me on that one if you think is a gay idea) ! I've seen a Rex with one on (w0rking) and thought it looked very suttle and nice !

Any help would be great guys, not sure if im posting this in the right place

All the best guys
Matt

The kit is made by Vertex as mentioned above. That is the original Vertex kit, Vertex now make an updated "widebody" version as well.

My friend has that same kit on his car, he bought authentic Vertex parts (not copies) and the quality was fantastic. Fit perfectly with minimal work required.

The wheel arches you see in that picture are custom. They rolled the fender lips out for tire clearance. They are not part of the vertex kit, but if you could find a better picture (larger) I'm sure that any good body shop could roll the fenders like that for you.

Actually, the "i" in A'PEXi stands for Integration. http://www.apexi-usa.com/about_detail.asp?id=5
Yeah, so many people call Apex, Apexi that it starts to get old.

Nitro, nice choice on an awesome kit. Make sure to get pictures if/when you finally get a car fitted up with this kit.

Oh yeah, regarding the roof scoop. IMO, i'd stay as far away from those things as possible. Chances are it wont be functional and they just ruin the look of the car. I mean, Mazda made the double bubble roof to look good, not to be covered by some ricey non-functional roof scoop.

But, as i said, that is my opinion and it is your car, so do what you want. That just what i think about roof scoops.
