anyone using Idemitsu pre-mix?

I have searched, but I'm sure Majik will find some thread I didn't and post a link. But has anyone used the Idemitsu pre-mix? Since I have installed the OMP adapter by rotary aviation I need to use either regular oil or pre-mix. I don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather use premix that is clean.

I've been contemplating ordering a case of the Idemitsu stuff, but wanted to get some reviews first

You might check with GoodfellaFD3S. IIRC he was looking into it, although I don't recall if he was looking at it for pre-mix.

I don't know of anyone using their pre-mix. Most of the people on this forum that I've seen only use their normal motor oils.

You might be one of the first to try their pre-mix on the forum here.

The only thing that worries me is that you're supposed to mix 1/2 an ounce for every gallon, but the OMP injects at a rate of 100:1..correct? If that is true then for every gallon of gas used the OMP will inject 1.28 ounces of premix or oil. At that rate over double the recommended amount would be injected per gallon. I wonder if that would have any negative affects?

Works great for me, dont really noticed any difference over any other type of oil. then again I wont know untill I blow the motor up again to see the wear.

The OMP injects less than 1000:1. I know I certainly dont use anywhere near a quart of oil every 30 gallons of gas.
