Anyone using AEM C2DI (ignition module)?

http://www.aempower.com/press_events_detail.asp?aid=28

It is cheaper than the HKS solution and fairly new.

Thanks,
Victor

I will be putting one on my car in the next week. It comes with rotary specific instructions. I will post the outcome.
If it works well its a good alternative to the HKS twin power which has become to expensive.

With this unit, do you get rid of the stock igniter? Can this unit drive 4 coils? HKS is a amplifier. Is this the same thing?

No word on Gars car . The AEM amp is resting under the mastercylinder on an alum bracket . The chrome is due back 3-19 as is some of the power coating . The light flywheel is being drilled around the outer edge to make it lighter . The polishing is almost done . The new SS fuel lines are not finished ( hard lines ) . The new battery cables with digital readout clamp are not finished ( welding cable ) . One cast 90 elbow to make a new hard pipe from the air box to the pri turbo is back ordered . ect,ect ect .

Sung, this can drive 4 or 8 coils. Steve actually recommended it over the HKS twin power to me (for the money).

Jason, I'd love to see some back to back dyno runs comparing it to stock system and the twin power on the same car. It would be a nice rx7store promo

It does not replace the stock igniter . The wires from the harness to the coils are attached to the AEM unit and then wires come from the AEM to the coils .I saw Davids drawing with the colors noted but that would be hard to remember for me . If dubulup wants to drive to murfreesboro to check out the work in progress I will pay his or her gas bill so I can say RIIIIIGHT. No need for me to make stuff up . So come on .

Well its got like 2 sets of wires, one set goes to the coils, the other looks like it goes to the igniter, but how do I know which wires are what on the igniter ?
