Anyone use this Boost Pressure Switch?

http://www.innovativetuning.com/cata...oducts_id=2837

anyone here ever heard anything or used these switches before? I know most people go with the Hobbs switches, but this one looks to have a higher adjustment. I'm just concerned with it failing since i haven't seen them before.

Aquamist make adjustable pressure switches with a wide range. Probably going to be about $50 or so for these switches, though they are proven.

I use that switch on my intercooler sprayer. Picked it up on ebay for... $10-15. Seems to work fine, but i wouldn't use it for anything crucial.

I use a Hobbs switch for my 2nd fuel pump. I like this one as it has a threaded head on it so you know the line is secure and wont blow off.... http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=BCS

can't edit my post-

they may advertise that it doesn't impede flow from one side to the other. This is incorrect. I don't know how off it is, but when i pulled it off the line to my boost controller the car responded much faster.

How much the tee restriction would affect things depends on the volume in the line from the tee to the boost controller. If you have a large (say, 1/4" ID) line several feet long, this could be significant. If the line were small and short, you would see much less effect from the restriction.

I think it's 1/8"ID, stock replacement silicon. The MAP sensor wasn't bothered in a big way, but i picked up throttle response and boost response when i pulled it off.
