Anyone running the ETS Vmount kit?

If so how did you go about the radiator relocation? Did you make custom brackets? What radiator did you use? I'm starting me rebuild and I am interested in using this kit but am curious about the additional cost of the radiator aspect.

If you are talking about this kit, it doesn't look like a real v mount. The radiator still in the stock location and from the description ("need to lower radiator ") it just looks more like a SMIC.

The ETS kit is basically an SMIC. To make a v-mount you need to modify the radiator on your own, as it doesn't come with one

Yeah I was talking about the ETS kit pictured above. I understand it doesn't come with a radiator. That's what I was asking

What radiator and what kind of modification would I need to do in order to mound the radiator in a v-mount setup.

whats worse is that there is no duct..... any SMIC positioned IC needs a duct

That is just a crappy *** intercooler placed in basically the same location as stock except w/o any ducting.

It is a piece of garbage in everyway.

The radiator is the critical part of a V-mount setup. So is the bracketry for the power steering cooler and a/c. Read the existing, multip-page threads on V-mount setups to learn more. No point in me retyping everything that is already in those threads.

Whoever designed that kit needs to do some serious rethinking.... Unless those fans are set up as pushers, the hot air discharge is blowing directly onto the intercooler. Combined with the fact that there is no duct, I wouldn't be surprised if that thing actually heats up the intake charge.
