starts then dies!!!

i just put my car together and went to start it and all it does is start then a few seconds later dies. it reacts to throttle input but it doesn't help keep it running.

i have checked-
low fuel pressure
low fuel
map sensor
crossed fuel lines
jumped fp/gnd and the pump stays on the whole time

what else should i check for? i had every single bolt and connectors undone maybe i forgot to plug something back in?

if you jumper it, it should stay on the whole time. However, what have you done to the car? rebuild? Replacement of some parts? So you're saying you're low on fuel/pressure? If so, start from there and see. Make sure your tank is has a good amount of fuel in there. Then jumper the fuel pump to make sure it is RUNNING while jumpered.

Do the de-flood procedure after all that and check your fuel pressure again. Let us know.

i took the car apart for a respray so everything in the engine bay was removed. when i jumper the fuel pump via the diagnostic box it will run then i go and start my car. the car starts for a few seconds and once it dies the pump is no longer running. it seems like the fuel pump is losing signal once the car is running.

will a fuel pump rewire fix it or is that just a bandaid? i was going to do the method of running a wire from the battery to the circuit opening relay. (blue wire)
