The FD already comes with two custom Hitachi turbos.

Are you referring to upgrading them?

Yeah, I'm thinking of maybe getting a custom Hitachi unit built around the RX-7 specific turbine wheel to replace the stock "big" turbo so it can flow a lot more air, about 17-22 PSI I guess. Just an idea that's been rolling around in my head.

Google, what a wonderful thing...

We will custom make exhaust manifolds ( Yes, we have to have the car here to do that )We will be happy to build or design a custom Turbo system for any car. Street or race application.

If you have a factory Turbocharged car your job is much easier because the manufacturer has designed in quite a bit of reliability and provided for proper boost, fuel, and ignition control.

I always search on my own first. I just couldn't find any perf. shops that build Hitachi turbos to specs, that's why I asked. Turbonetics (like most others) deal mainly with Garrett based clones. Not really intersted in hybrids either, just looking for a H12 variant that'll flow more and bolt up to the stock manifold with little or no modification.

BNR Supercars makes hybrid upgrades, not sure if they are hitachi's or not though. Do a search on the forum and you should come up with their web address if you're interested.
