Anyone eliminate AC but keep power steering?

Hey guys I am considering eliminating my ac since I most likely will never get it recharged. Eliminating my power steering is not even an option...Have any of you guys eliminated all the ac stuff, including the pulley and run a new belt just from the main, around the tensioner to the PS? I found this link about the subject but was looking for some feedback and also if that belt size listed is correct: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...t=removal+belt

If i recall correctly, With stock pullies the new belt size is around a 35 inch belt I will go out and check the old one . He has since switched to Unorthodox pullies.

I have a K060365 belt from NAPA on my car. That was the belt I used as a reference for the other car I did the a/c removal to

A way to get the correct size is to take a piece of string and route it in place of the belt. Then mark where the ends meet and measure the distance. That is the belt size you need. NOTE: Make sure that you take the measurement with the tensioner backed off so you have some adjustment room.

Well i removed both, but as i'm picturing the p/s on top seems like the a/c wouldn't be in the way

haha I wouldn't eliminate power steering if it gained me 50 hp...I can't believe anyone does that. If its anything like an 86 rx7 w/o power steering, you fellas are nuts. Apneable I also have a single with both but the AC hasn't been charged yet. Who knows if I'll ever get around to doing it.

it is really not a matter of weight but more of a engine bay de-messifiaction. some like the feel of the road, but i never found myself in a position to react quickly if needed. So i like P/S. A/C though is something that can be a bitch.
