Help! Boost Control/Wastegate

Does anyone know of a boost controller that can be set to maintain 100% wastegate duty cycle at a given RPM? I need one urgently. The apexi avcr can only go to around 90%, I need my wastegate totally shut at a user definable RPM for some tests I'm doing.

That's one dangerous test....

At 90%, the wastegate is likely shut. Let's say you're running 10 pounds of boost. If 1 pound gets to the wastegate, is that actually gonna move it? No.

Better question - what are you trying to accomplish?

If you mean you want it all the way closed, just take off the hose going to it.

what about a boost operated switch that controls a solenoid on the wastegate line?

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to try it at 90%. I'm still fabbing some intercooler piping, so I'll do some test driving next week.

Sequential-with a custom equal length manifold and 2 garrett turbos.

-extremely simplified, using mostly electronic controls (not the mess of vacuum/pressure line crap).

I just need to finish the IC piping (y-pipe mostly), then much testing will follow. I will post results and pics (as well as more details) once I have a finished product. Should have it up and testing in the next couple of weeks.

That should be cool! I think I can imagine what you're doing - I'll be interested to see the results!
