Im looking at a 93 RX-7 for sale. And the anteena is broke, where can I get a new one?

I've broken 2 in 4 years, first one came with the car, second one was used. I recommend buying a new one from Ray or sourcing a suitable aftermarket. Too bad the Bose rear glass antenna doesn't work.

Basically don't get a used one.

 

My antenna didn't work either when I got it. So I left it on the down position and bought a hide away antenna. Now I don't have an antenna at all since I got it shaved.

 

IIRC, you can buy just a new mast (which comes with a with a new plast ic strap that sometimes fails) for $40 if that's the issue. I think the entire assembly...motor, transmission and mast will run ~$130 from Malloy.

 

just let it be and un-plug the motor for it in the back until you can either get it shaved, or find one of those short ones.

 

More than likely it is just the mast and they are easy to replace. Ray can get you a brand new one for under $50.00.
