Thanks for the comments guys.
Yeah, it's a '66. A few months ago I wouldn't have known a '66 from a '72, but a friend just bought the one in the pic, so I'm learning... it's a 289, 2-barrel, with a 3-speed (he wanted a 4-speed, but at least it's not auto). All original, 70kmiles, and not in bad condition (for a 40 year-old car). The positive camber on the front wheels is a little goofy though
. Surprisingly, it weighs 2800lb - same as mine! With a few power, suspension, and reliability mods it should be pretty quick.
Oh, and my rims are 17".

nice car man... I love the red
Maybe it's because I'm biased since I have a red one too... Love your car though. Nice. I like the 17's too. Never thought I would, since I love how the 18's look. But they look sweet too... what kind are those?

I don't care if they aren't Volks, Racing Harts, or whatever. Those look damn nice on that car!

The wheels were on the car when I bought it. Info from the previous owner was that they were put on soon after the car was originally bought from the dealer. Thus, they are from the same era as the car so they don't stand out as much as modern, more hard-edged, wheels (IMO). They go well with the curviness of the car's lines (also IMO).
Of course, I could just be rationalizing since I don't want to spend the $$$ for new wheels
.Thanks again for all the comments.
