lol. What you can do is go to your local Napa or Autozone (some place like that). Look in the HELP! section. They will have rubber caps you can purchase. Get one and stick it on there. If you are concerned about it coming off, just get a ziptie to keep it on there.

Actually I never knew keeping it open would make oil vent. However, how do the apex, etc... keep it from spraying out oil.

I would love to have that louder swhoosh but I don't want to make my engine bay dirty ( i just polished it. =P )

yah i did the same thing. sounds so sick! i was going down i4 today and even when i let off the gas at 90mph you could clearly hear the BOV whoosh!!!

that picture looks so fami.....HEY WAIT, THAT'S MY CAR!!!!

lol that came off my car domain page

whats the point of taking out the hose on the right side and putting the bottle cap on where the hose would have been?

Well.... If that determines that it's properly functioning, then yes. Other than that, I could care less what sound it makes..

Note: I know my stock shiftknob *Functioned* fine... But the leather came off and it's quite slippery on hot days..

jdh,

I was referring to Austin, who seems to be working on a 3rd unexplored stock BPV experiment currently.

If you remove that hose which directs air back into the airbox, that allows you to hear the BOV a lot more (similar to an aftermaket BOV). Venting the BOV back into the airbox only quiets the noise.
