if you are patient you can trim double stick foam core 3m tape to the shape of the emblem. if you are careful, it looks oem.

Superglue molecularly bonds with the painted plastic. It's works, but you only get one chance to align it right. I spread a thin coat of clear RTV silicone sealant on the emblems, then put them on. Excess can be wiped away, and it bonds without messing up the paint. All emblems can be ripped off, even if screwed on from the backside.

Don't use just any 3M double sided tape. They make one specifically for outdoor use - it's grey and you can find it at Ace Hardware. The white stuff will degrade within a few months. The grey is incredible.
Trim it with a new, single edge razor blade and you're good to go for years. Make sure you wipe the surface with alcohol to clean it before application.

Thanks for clarifying cause I was looking at the white tape and it looked so thick and spongy that I didn't think it was going to hold up to the weather very well. I'll go look for the grey stuff.

I've used the exterior trim weather proof 3m double sided tape. NOTHING beats a 3m I used the tape 3 years ago and it is STILL holding.

Isn't there a silicon glue specifically for emblems? I thought I heard there is such thing that's sold at auto parts stores.

Probably..they repackage silicone glue/adhesive in about 15 different ways to expand market share. It's all the same stuff and GE makes the best.
It is kind of messy though and the 3M grey tape is sooooo easy to use and position. I used a crayon to put light alignment marks on the paint, or you can use a water based fine tip magic marker - NOT a Permanent marker. You cannot move the tape once you press down. The crayon comes off with a little alcohol and gentle rubbing.

My non permanent solution was to use some clear liquid electrical tape... hehe it's sticking rather well might i add, and no mess. don't knock it till you try it.

I used high-temp hot glue a few weeks ago because I wasn't sure what to use and knew it wouldn't chemically bond to my paint, etc. They haven't flown off under high speed jonts, nor sprayed off or fallen off during washings (yet).

Sounds like there are better solutions though...
