? about making adjustments on air/fuel mix

Alright i this was my set up
apexi intake.full exhaust, manual boost controller, hks pfc fcon.
My fcon has a dial to dump more fuel, The manual says #1 is stock and goes to #9, It was set at #3 running 12 lbs of boost. Ran good.

I installed a Large ASP SMIC, and Greddy Profec S, and running 13-14 lbs of boost on both turbos and i tried adjusting the dial, and the car would run good at #4- #8. With not much change. Well I decided to leave it at 4, and it ran good for a bit, then one day, i had no power when the secondary turbo kicked in. It just droped off. Well the next day i bumped up my fuel to 6 and it ran better, but was still not right. The power was better, but it had ran stronger before. Well i go and get my O2 sensor replaced. And I went to a new mechanic, and we went for a drive and it ran alot better, feels strong again. The mechanic said not to adjust the dial that much, you should drive the car for a week and then adjust, the Stock ECU needs time to adjust to the new reading. I have never heard that. Well he said that he can tell it's not running lean, but should i try retuning before a week, i don't know i might be running to rich, i have no systomps yet, but strong fuel smell off the ehaust tip, but if i turn down to lean it out will it make more power, and if i get a symptom i'll go back to # 6, I was running 3 then to jump up that much more for few lbs of boost and a bigger IC. I don't know ! I need a wideband !

Yes, you do. It's about 1/10th the cost of a new engine.

I know but i had a new O2 sensor put in, it's running good, and i'm getting difrrent readings,I also have a new ? what about making changes on it. Do i really have to wait a week, before adjusting. The mechanic advised the ECU is reading off the new sensor and to drive it for a week, then adjust. The ECU needs time?

The stock ecu supposedly requires time to readjust idle and cruise. This has nothing to do with being on throttle, which uses fixed maps.

Nothing has changed in your situation since your last thread. I told you there that randomly adjusting your AFRs with a switch, when you don't know your actual AFRs, is simply DUMB. I guess you didn't believe me. You need a wideband setup in order to do this safely. Do it right or risk a blown motor/turbos.
