does anyone other than me notice the huge RX-7 Store banner at the top of the screen??

and thankfully, no one makes a knockoff of the 99 wing...yet. if you want to outfit your car with knockoff parts, get a civic.

If your looking for a nice wing that looks similar to the 99, the Racingbeat type 2 is a good wing. Its a little taller than the 99, but I like that look.

Heh... just a warning to people thinking about those Mazdaspeed Type II replica wings on Ebay... that specific design is especially prone to warping. The thin center section will sag over time if the quality of the piece is not good. ... that's why I was asking about the qaulity of Racing Beat's copy of the Mazdaspeed Type II, but I'm assuming they should make pretty decent quality products.

RB type 2 wing

Hey,
I have a RB type 2 wing in the box, brand new never mounted. Its kind of expensive to ship, but if anyone wants one, lets talk.

Steve

Oh ya, great quality and no Racing beat stamp anywhere on the wing.

I bought the '99 rear wing from Jason at the RX7 store and love it. I don't regret it for a minute. Not only does it mount right up, but it came painted from the factory. Doesn't look to ricy either.

Lightbulb Pre-painted saves $

It could cost you $100 - $250 to have a rear wing painted, so deduct that from the price of the '99 J-Spec.

I'm stuck between the '99 and the C-West Shark Wing. Wish I could see them side by side or at least get better pictures.

What about rear view? ...how much do you loose with the '99 or Racing Beat tails? I don't think the Shark tail is much taller than the R2 wing.

I'm going to have the car painted after I get my tax return anyways.:p I can't wait for tax time, they owe me some $$$$

Yes, the tail will hamper your vision somewhat, with the 99 spec, you can adjust the angle of the wing. This will effect your rearward view.

The RB II doesn't hamper your vision too much. There is a line that goes straight across your mirror, but you can see other cars (and objects) fine. It kinda helps at night sometimes cause other cars lights will line up perfect with the wing, not blinding when you look in the mirror.
