94-95 interior cost?

Has anybody ever bought new 94' interior plastics (textured parts) new from mazda (possibly from Ray Crowe at Malloy)? Just curious how much these parts are new.

And that's just the plastics. Add up the other parts and complete interior would probably be over $10k. The door panels alone are $1500 each.

who would have thought plastic could have cost so much!

2K? That guy is dreaming:
650 rear bins
1025 dash
1500 passenger door panel
1700 driver door panel
425 for rear quarters each...
and the list goes on and on
plan on 10-12K for everything!

I believe the OP just referring to the parts which are painted on the 93's (and peel). Not necessarily every interior part.

Everything can still be bought in some form or another. The A/C panel and gauge cluster are now only available as part of larger assemblies, IIRC.

Door panel plastics and stuff are definitely cheaper if you buy the whole door panel. If you go piecemeal you'll end up with even bigger prices.

Clearly though the price of any of these interior parts is not for the faint of heart. Going on my very weak memory, the 3 pieces around the lower trunk area (non-bose) were $1000, the two b-pillar covers were $300/ea, the bins are several hundred, divider panel is several hundred, shifter panel w/o inserts is $80, the gauge cluster cover assy is several hundred, the door panel plastics are like $800 per door, and the sill plates are $50/ea.

The only reason I wanted to replace mine was because my 93' panels are becoming sticky and not smooth. You know, the typical 93 interior deal...

I'm considering just taking Gordon's advise and sanding them down, painting them, and maybe a little clear.
