93 FD Hood won't open
Hey all,
I'm having problem opening hood on a 93 FD. Hood release cable has an audible click but doesn't seem to have any tension on it, I'm thinking the cable got separated form the latch. I went to take the bumper off so I could get to it that was but the last 2 bolts are right underneath the hood(car came with quick release so I thought I could get to it). Any ideas as to what I could do? I searched on here and the only thing I'm seeing is to jack one side of the car up until the cable catches but that doesn't make sense mechanically in my situation. Please advise.

If you pull the release and hear the normal release sound then the cable did its job and the issue is with the latch. Try jiggling the hood if you can to get the hook on the latch to release the hood. Once you get it open, remove the latch assembly, clean the hell out of it and then lube the hell out of it and it won't happen again
