Well to finish this up a bit. After fighting oil leak after oil leak we finally got the oil to stop leaking until Steve Kan tuned my car. Now it leaks oil again! I think it is coming from around the pan. Anyway it is just minor and I will worry about that next spring. Right before I let for school. I took my 7 to Gateway International Raceway to see what she could do. I got 2nd place both times. First time was against a low 13 second WRX. This loss was my fault because I babied it out of the whole and he beat me to the line by a fender length. Its actually funny because my time and speed was faster than his because he left the line first but the trophy race is heads up so I still "lost." Second time I had to race a stripped out VW Rabbit/Golf with no cool down time in between runs. I still would have lost anyway because it was running mid 11s all night compared to my mid 12s. My best run before I left was a 12.687 @ 115.95mph with a 60' time of 2.17. I was running 16psi and was stuck on shitty 245/45/16 Fuzion ZRi. I had to baby it out of the hole to keep from spinning but even so I would spin like crazy on the 1-2 shift and still bark them on the 2-3 shift as well. I was running about 18 psi of pressure in my tires. If I took out more the car wanted to get sideways so we kept them at 18-19 psi.

Also, right before I left my dad and I made a custom sub box to hold a 10" Memphis M-Class Carbon fiber sub. It looks great because it fits in nicely and hides the amp. Also the carpet I chose matched the stock black carpet. I have a few pics of it without the sub in the back. I will be making more of these at Xmas break if anyone else wants one let me know. I am selling them for $75 shipped. Comes with the terminal and everthing, all you have to do is drop in your sub and your ready to bump. Just over 1.0 cubic feet or sealed airspace.

Plans for this spring include finally putting in my 8.8" Mustang Cobra IRS Read End. I bought one of Jim Lab's Cradles a long time ago and haven't had a chance to put it to some good use yet. I also plan on putting on a Scoot Carbon fiber hood and maybe some wheels. But, most importantly I am buying a car hauler trailer for my 7. I already have a 1/2 chevy with a 305 so I am getting a trailer to haul my car to and from the race track and shows. I am just getting a cheapy wood/steal one. They are about $1000 brand new in the middle of MO. Also hopefully Steve Kan comes back to STL for another tune session so I can have my car tuned for more boost!

Thanks to all the people who gave me advice on this forum and special thanks to Steve Kan, Xavier and Jason from RX7Store, Eric C, and Chris A.

Nice looking engine bay, that turbo is enormous. Your trap speeds seem kind of low for the power/boost you're running, though.
