alright i got everything all hooked up again unplugged the isc and it started and idled at 1k then as it started to warm up the idle increased to 2k once it fully heated up. do i just need to replace the isc? or is it something else now?

I have a used good condition ISC controller if you need one.

Also, I'd recommend keeping the duct tape out of your engine bay

Can't see why the idle would increase because of your ISC valve as the car warms up. Either it leaks or it doesn't, and if it's unplugged it shouldn't change with temperature. My latest uneducated guess is that you have a gasket leak somewhere that is worsening with temperature. Maybe the UIM-to-LIM gasket or the LIM-to-block gasket has a leak that opens up as the manifold studs expand with heat? Weird. You might want to check the torque on the UIM/LIM bolts... easy to do.
