1993-95 Production numbers

Interested in hard numbers for production from 1993-95 Have read 13,700ish. Is this LHD and RHD worldwide or only LHD in US? Also, it said that only 500 were manufactured with automatic transmissions. If there is an archivist out there? would love to know quotable numbers. Also curious an estimate of how many are estimated to still be on the road and How many remain "original" or not seriously modified.Any input or references would be appreciated! Thanks!!

I'm fairly sure that number is for North America only. In Japan, there were 18002, 5232 and 6388 made for Version 1, 2 and 3 respectively. These are approximately analogous to North American 1993, 1994 and 1995 models. I extrapolated data for every submodel made, transmission choice, and interior/exterior colors too.

As for European and UK/Australia numbers, I've not dug into the data yet

What about the few of us who purchased our FDs in 1992?
I still own mine.

It’s production numbers. Not sales numbers. If you bought a 93 NADM model (probably in the fall) of 1992 I think it would be included in the total production numbers.

And like my NADM car, also built in March of 92 were titled, and sold as a 93 model. So I’m not sure where those numbers would show up.
The 13,700 total LHD models sounds familiar but I don’t remember if that includes Canadian and LHD Euro models or just USDM. There’s a book out there that I think breaks down the numbers.
Not sure about auto RX7’s but my guess is that’s one category where rare isn’t a positive correlation to value.

Sounds like it's North America only with that number. Europe and UK/Australia are their own animals, I've not cracked into them yet.

13879 to be exact for the fd rx7,1993-1995. There were 18,685 nsxs sold between 1990-2005. your more likely to come across a nsx than a rx7.
