I wanted the Buddy Club but couldn't find one, so I made one similar with a magnaflow tip

This is what the car sounds like... no resonators or cat or mufflers:

sorry I didn't get on it... I have a restrictor plate in there but still worried about boost creep. That and I sprung a radiator leak

I expected the car to sound much louder. I don't like the sound it produces, but I like the way it looks. Becareful with melting your bumper

Farkel: I have straight pipes to, and wot sounds insane, but good.
I made a custom catback out of a old blitz one.
Insted of the muffler its a Y-pipe and two 3" pipes.

yeah, I know, I'm bumping this back up again...only because I am very curious, and interested in knowing what other exhaust systems do you guys have; what kind of numbers are you guys getting, and change in performance (positive, and negative), etc etc.

Not to sure if I posted my exhaust yet. On the previous page I was asking about the racing beat dual tip, because I wasnt quite sold on it.

Well I decided to pick one up last summer. Heres a vid of my car on the dyno. My exhaust is 3 inch downpipe, to resonated mid pipe, to the rb dual. Auto trans.

Just after I let off the gas my blow off valve decided to blow completely off, only at 10 psi! It was a greddy unit stock mounted with a hose to the blow off valve, and the hose came right off the y pipe. In the second dyno pull video the exhaust sounds much different because I didnt notice the massive boost leak, yet I still made 246whp.

Anyways on to the vid:

I have the TANABE CONCEPT G on mine & I love it. Im not crazy about the dual outlet style tips although I liked the sound of the Racing Beat, so I decided on the Tanabe just to see if it was what they claimed & it was more then I had hoped for, mellow on low RPM's but had that Racing Beat rasp @ higher RPM, its a newer one to the market for the FD from Tanabe, but I would recommeneded it to anyone looking to replace what they have or looking for something that aint as load as what they may currently have & wants a really nice tone.
My friend has the Racing Beat Dual tip & after hearing mine he is considering selling his RB to get the Tanabe !

custom built by yours truely. 3" fleabay downpipe off stockers heat wrapped and flex added to v-banded midpipe resonated with one dynomax bullet muffler to catback muffler with magnaflow muffler i had laying around.

sounds real good very deep idle wicked rotary rap getting on it and under overpasses lol. not bad right now but still abit louder than i want so ill be adding another bullet to the midpipe and wrapping it and that should be perfect i hope.
