I'v got an Apex N1cb with trust DP and catless MP with small silencer for resonation. Pretty loud but sounded not so nice at lower rpm with the 4.5in tip, too 'out-board boat motor like' so welded a 3in tip inside of it and it sounds BEAutiful now, through all rpm.
Highly reccomend it.

I traded my gt spec for a hks carbon ti a few months ago. Although the hks looks better, the gt spec had a nicer exhaust note. I still have the stock midpipe though.

You're right the Apexi does sound nicer and deeper, maybe I"ll put on the baffle to make it less quiet. It just annoys me when I'm driving the car for more than 20 mins.

RE Amemiya DownPipe (80mm)
Kakimoto Midpipe (80mm)
Kakimoto Backpipe (80mm)

I really love it.
Sounds nice .. deep tone.
Not too loud (thats important here in germany)
performance is gorgeous! 80mm front to back. perfect!

Videos and Soundclips , next year.
Or a smart snippet in a few weeks!

I am looking at purchasing an exhaust, and I was thinking about the racing beat dual tip, but now that I hear it seems to sounds like a dirtbike. I am looking for something that doesnt make the rotary sound like a weedwacker/dirtbike , but I dont want something that is all that loud. Basically I am just wondering what exhaust you might suggest with this in mind.

Get a new car. 2 rotor will always have that peculiar sound, if you have a 3 rotor anything that is not a coffee can will give you the sound you are looking for.

Racing Beat Dual tip is the quiestest thing I have ever heard on an FD followed by a Greddy SP.
