N1 single tip. I've got the rx7store resonated midpipe too. Over all I like it. It's not as loud as I thought it would be but it does get real loud at WOT.

Racing Beat dual tip. Nice unit, all stainless steel, very high quality with excellent fit and finish. No need to modify anything, no melting of the rear valance. The tone is deep and non-intrusive at idle, but at WOT it howls with authority. This is an exhaust that won't wear your ears out on a long drive and it lets you listen to your stereo without having to have it cranked just to cover the exhaust "noise". There have been various dyno claims that show anywhere from a 5 to 15 hp increase using this exhaust, I can only tell people that the "butt dyno" indicates a noticeable increase in performance.

^ I have that Racing Beat Dual Tip. Ditto everything bajaman said. I notice more backfiring though, not sure if that has anything to do with the exhaust.

PFS. Love the sound, nice and quiet at idle, with a nice deep tone at WOT. The tip is big and shows you mean business, but not huge enough to fit a grapefruit in.

mine looks like yours but then i saw a pfs in person and its TINY when compared to mine..

see how mines looks like yours sorta (its dirty)..well in person, the tip is HUGE, like 5 inches!! i really hate my exhaust..the sound is cool, not choppy like some exhausts for fd's but i really hate the look, it throws the overall look of the car..

i remember one time i parked my car at work, a family parked like 2 spaces from me, it was a guy, wife and a 11 year old kid or something..they walked around my car saying damn this car is nice, its an rx7..the parents went to look at the back of the car to confirm the name and saw the huge exhaust and went from to ...LOL

they prob though, "o, another one of those cars with those exhausts"...

Now... if I could just figure out how to get the laser etched (I assume) logo off the tips without grinding...

Whew, that's a relief. I'm pretty sure that the Veilside/Shogun wing was outlawed in the US several years ago. That could have been a hefty fine.

Bought a new exhaust today. Its a 3" with a 4" tip from Tanabe. It`s called Tanabe Super Medallion Racing. Will be fitted next week, will see how it sounds...

Trust J-spec catback. This is a loud *** exhaust. It is not an actual muffler, just looks like it.

Yeah... worst sounding exhaust I've ever heard on an FD and it adds extra weight. Bitchin'!

I think the perfect exhaust, since Borla doesn't make a twin tip Stinger cat-back for the FD, is an RB twin tip with twin Borla Stinger tips.

This is my old one. Greddy PE. Now this thing is a grapefruit shooter. Had a kick *** sound, but just too damn big and heavy too. I've got the PFS on it now with an M2 MP. Kinda drones on the highway, but I don't mind so much.

No lie, those Apex'i duals sound absolutely horrendous on a 7.

I have the RB dual tip, and I think it sounds really nice. I would have liked to get it without the Racing Beat etching, as I really do not need any more attention.

I have a 4" downpipe, lead to a Magnaflow 6" round race muffler (4" inlet, 4" outlet: Click Me) muffler, then a 4" midpipe running to a Magnaflow oval race muffler (4" inlet , 4" outlet: Click Me). The oval race muffler has a standard single-wall 4" exhaust tip.

The sound quality is horrible, but you can get an example here:

Click Me

and here is an external sound shot of the car on the dyno:
