Is that with a cat, resonated midpipe or non-resonated midpipe? sounds like a non-resonated midpipe

I don't know what the big deal is w/ RB duals. They're way too quiet IMO. M2's deep burbling exhaust tone is my personal favorite.

Way too quiet???? hahahahaha

Not with a downpipe, midpipe and non-seq. Its too loud. I wish they made something quieter. I set off alarms crusing at 3000rpm no boost... this is with RB dual..

Wouldnt know, its not my car, but i believe the owner said it had a downpipe and hi flow, but i'm not sure. Either way, its not my favoritie of exhausts, but without silencers, i can somewhat live with it.

My personal favorite is the sound of the HKS carbon/ti.

why would you want your exhuast to be loud? dunno bout you guys but i want to attract the least attention as possible .. especially when im speeding .. dont want the cops to hear me coming a mile away .. people on this thread make fun of others for being "rice" cause their cars are all flashy .. isnt having a loud *** exhaust in itself "rice"? makes more noise than it should .. anyways i got rb duals myself .. before that i had apex n1 (got it with the car .. not my choice .. sounded the best cause it had a leak and everytime i had it in wot it would literally whistle) .. rb duals are the way to go .. looks stock .. probably the quiestest one ive seen in person .. gets cops off your ***

I actualy don't have any sound clips of my N1 dual but I will try to record a few sometimes this week and upload it.

BTW, my car sounds nothing like ROTORhead93's , It's deeper and quieter, could be the borla center piece I got, it makes a diference I guess.

Dual n1's +magnaflow resonated mid-pipe sounds awesome on kyro-2's 7. Sounds similar to a g35 exhaust but louder and more powerful sounding.

thats got nothing to do with the exhaust. it's the VQ. I agree though, it's the best sounding V6 i've ever heard.

No exhaust is going to make a rotary sound like a Nissan V-6

I've tried the N-1 dual with high flow cat and resonated midpipe. It's not overly loud with the silencers (though severely down on performance), but terrible without. It doesn't remotely sound a G35 or 350Z at any point in the rev range- silencers in or out.

On another note, what’s the purpose of these silencers anyway? Are you going to ask someone to pull over for a few minutes prior to a race so you can remove them? Most are so restrictive that there's no benefit to running around with them in place anyway.

These exhaust threads are analagous to the tale of the fat chick who asks her significant other if the dress she's trying on makes her look fat. The reply: "No, your *** makes you look fat."

Most high flow FD exhausts don’t sound very good because 2 rotor engines don’t sound very good- unless you happen to have an affinity for weed whackers. No doubt this is an unpopular opinion on this forum, but I've yet to have anyone compliment me on my wonderful sounding exhaust and I've tried a half of a dozen (FWIW, three and four rotor motors make very pleasing noises, IMO).

I use a RB with a resonated mid pipe. Sound deep and mellow and only hints of weed whacker at high RPM. It flow extremely well too and I never worry about having to remove any silencers.

Damn man, whats up with the first gen in the woods!! Get her outta there and do something with her. What do you use to take the carbon off the bumper? I use that fast wax in the spray can and it cleans it up really nice and quick.

My beef with the N1 Dual is it hits the black plastic valence under the bumper and melts it - you can clearly see that in the picture. They tried to shoehorn two muffler cans into the space for one, and there just isn't room for it.

I disagree with the statement about sound - the twin turbo FD with a good exhaust is one of the best exhaust notes I've ever heard. It's actually somewhat difficult to get the weedwhacker sound out of an FD - non-turbo RX-7's have a big problem with that. Biggest problem with the FD is simply volume - it's MUCH easier to have a VERY loud exhaust than a quiet one.

Yes it melted a bit of the black plastic but oh well.

I use the crap from turtle wax called bug and tar remover. Works great. Just use a little elbow grease.

This picture was taken some time ago and the SE is back on the road. I wouldn't let a car like that rot to long.
