Really like the smooth direction the rear is headed. I think you could really pump up the Exotic / Futuristic aspects of your overall design with some sort of implementation of slim LED elements from the McLaren P1 rear design, using the frosted plastic similar to what BMW / Audi and others are using to light the plastic from behind, or maybe get crazy with some OLED?
Also, I'd love to see a similar concept for a flush rear wing that pops out of the deck similar to the P1, and Toyota FT-1! Just throwing ideas out there since you're still in the concept phase.

Now active aero is a whole mess that I don't want to get into for complication and cost. The idea will be to split the rear trunk panel where it separates from the upper edge of the tail lights and make add in spoilers. I already have several designs that mimic well liked wings like the 99 spec, R Magic, AuteExe, in addition to the GT style wings.

The earlier versions were more exaggerated exactly because they weren't restricted to fitting on top of an existing body. Now that I'm essentially wrapping the new skin over an FD, the design has grown especially in length. The FEED style fenders are being reworked, I just haven't had the time to do so yet.

What is your plan when you get into the CFD analysis stage to achieve your zero lift goal?
I mean, you will obviously have to have a detailed model with full mechanical/undercarriage.
Will you be altering the undercarriage (flat floor panels, change in gas tank, exhaust, etc) or achieving the zero lift goal though added "downforce" on your exterior design?
It will be interesting to see what tweaks come through the CFD analysis process.
It seems to me, the FC was largely designed in the Miyoshi wind tunnel and that is why it looks like a Cessna; whereas, the FD was largely designed in the studio and tweaked slightly (R1 front lip) in the wind tunnel. That is why the FD looks like art, but is aerodynamically inferior to the FC.
The FD beautiful curved front fenders swooping down to the hood, signature double bubble roof and curved haunchy rear fenders provide high coefficient of lift from the side.
Your peaked front fenders look like they will spoil the airflow from the side into turbulence and your revised roof as well, I wonder if the stock rear hatch and smooth haunchy rear fenders will still cause problems.
Anyways, just hoping this gets into CFD analysis well before the exterior design is "set".

And to OP: While I'm not super stoked on the design (I prefer a more subtle look) I think its rad that you're leveraging the proper tools and newer fabrication methods to potentially rapidly make something that really appeals to a lot of people.
Also, and maybe you've already answered this, what are you modeling in? Are you using VRED to show off these renderings?

If you want a Corvetteish front and a Corvetteish back....why not buy a Corvette? :P

Love the new lower side skirt pieces going into the front vent shape.
Mirrors seem too big to me in this most recent form- a smaller race mirror would fit more, imo.
Mirrors in general are a design compromise necessary from the manufacturer to meet governmental regulations... I think you could get away with something more aftermarket Craft Square race mirror size as far as mirror surface area goes, and the overall vehicle design wouldn't be hindered. Like a leaf instead of an appendage. (Atleast consider experimenting with taking them back some so they sit behind the outside A-pillars.)
Overall looking very nice, like the whole front end shape. Like a Lotus Elise / Hennessy Venom GT mixed 50/50 with a new Corvette.
