I wish Shine was fast about the FEED hood as they are with this Mazdaspeed GTC bumper, been waiting years to drop a deposit for that hood

That project was messed up by one of the prototypers we hired, which I did mention in the thread. We had to start from scratch again. Anyone can visit our facility and I can show you both prototypes (messed up one) vs the new one we're working on. The hood project and end results we're aiming for is 5x harder than this bumper project. No deposit was needed on that one. Deposit wouldn't have made a difference.

Ok Guys 4 deposits confirmed so far.

Just a heads up on shipping cost to Canada. Shipping cost to B.C, Alberta, and Ontario is roughly $250 (for transportation only). Then there is the cost of brokerage (clearance of the package). If you do not have a preferred broker, I usually recommend one who charges about $50. Then there's misc local customs and taxes that need to be paid. We can lower the invoice value to help out no problem and it has helped many of our customers. So budget yourself accordingly if you are having this shipped to Canada.

Revrx7. Paul_3rdgen.

You both are from Toronto. Might want to consider working with each other to share a package. The $250 transportation cost is fixed and doesn't really matter how big the box is. The more parts, the merrier.

And we're working on the FEED hood as we speak. GTC bumper could be a no go.

For the Toronto guys, go through Teknotik. US Toronto guys including Revrx7 have bought the feed side skirts from Teknotik.

I'm sending my deposit Thursday and I'm from the Toronto area as well I would be willing to split costs with any of the Toronto guys.
I'm likely also in for cf street diffuser and cf sides all at the same time.

Parts of a bumper with no definitive source for the other pieces is a tough sell.

The bumper works fine with 99 spec turn signals....the lenses are just a nice way of finishing the look. IMO

Teknotik is a good source. They move alot of our products into Canada. However, unfortunately for the project, we'll need the full $550 to get this going, so it is unlikely they'll get a cut. If they are not getting a cut, they will be hesitant to do the leg work. If you are looking to buy other items through Teknotik, where they will actually get a cut, then definitely go through them.

This is one of the reasons I am hesitant about the success of this project. Honestly, I prefer not to do it, but I do have a few customers asking me about it, so here we are.

I've been watching over this and i'll put in this weekend I love the GTC kit but authentic's are hard to source. Time to get my lens covers now

Will the bumper come with the grille or will we have to source our own grille?

Thanks

Usually, only the oil cooler openings would utilize a grille. I can provide bumpers with tabs attached so you can use the grille of your choice.

For a quality grille, it is hard to beat what customcargrills.com is offering and we refer customers to that site exclusively. They offer a nice selection of patterns and sizes. The grille is of quality construction and they offer them powdercoated in black.

I know alot of chinese-made replicas do include grilles, but they are providing you with the lowest of the low (home depot quality). Nothing will make a quality bumper look tackier than putting on a low quality mesh. We'd just rather not and point customers to a grille specialist.

I have dealt with customcargrills.com when replacing my grills on the mazdaspeed front bumper for the rx8. I'll definitely be looking for tabs to insert the grill for both the oil cooler and possibly the front main as well. I appreciate it, will send the deposit by Saturday

Currently having a version of this bumper, I'm baffled as to why the lens cover availability would prevent people from jumping in. Looks just as good without the cover and in some cases better (a smoked version looks hot, the clear version looks worse than without them). I have a set of clear lenses and haven't put them on. It's aesthetics, I guess, which is different for everyone.

Hopefully, the others will either put up the deposit or remove their names from the list. I'm eager to either get on with it or carry on with alternatives.

My payment was already sent in the form of a bumper. But I agree lets get this going.
