Im interested depending on the total price, I've seen authentic lenses sell for $500+ on yahoo auctions - if the replicas were anything near that price I couldn't justify shelling out

 

Copy then paste, then add yourself as the next number manually nice and neat just like all the other ones are typed then post.

 

Ken said it will be a while cause of other projects but he said he is going to do it. The best thing is to call shine auto and see what Ken says. I'm going to call him this week.

Hey Guys. We just finished up the RE-kit project and this would be a perfect time to start on this project if there is indeed enough demand. All I need is a list of at least 15 secured customers. I would require a $200 non-refundable deposit. If we do not get at least 15, we'll return deposits and unfortunately, we'll have to pass on the project. Each project is quite time consuming and we can only do so many in a year. The demand has to be there to be worth our while.

Time Frame: 2-3 weeks to perfect the bumper. We'll get fitment as close to OEM as possible as we have done with our other projects. If the bumper is wavy, we'll get rid of as much of it as we can. All proper trimming will be done to give close to an OEM look possible. If we see any design symmetry issues, we'll correct those as well. It will be a high quality product produced in our flexible Hybrid FRP material. Another 4 weeks to build the mold. Another 2 weeks to clean up and prep the mold for production. Once everything is good to go and there are no hiccups, we can produce 1 per week. That is really the fastest we can go without sacrificing quality.


Bumpers will go out in the order of "first come first serve" deposits, so get your name on that list .

The bumper will be $550. Shipping is $165 to a business or $185 to residential

It will not include lenses. You'll have to source authentic ones from Japan for now. It is not worth it for us to invest in the tooling to build these lenses just to sell 15 pairs. The tooling costs for a pair of these lenses is roughly $5000. I know because we've made that investment before when we had to supply curved fog light covers for our S2000 Spoon style front bumper. We received the same quote recently for Feed lense covers. It is simply not worth it for us unless we happen to sell at least 50 of these bumpers or charge a very high price for a pair of lenses. If you can get authentic ones through RHDJapan, go for it. You don't have any other option to be quite frank.
