Nice video Fritz. Notice you cranking the heat ****. How warm was it getting towards the end of your session? I take it you're running a properly vented Vmount setup??

I usually have the heat turned up then turn it cool after the checker. My water temps are fine but my oil is a problem (I'll see 230) but there's an easy solution called ducts Not so much a problem for bearings but it's robbing me of power and could potentially hurt the bearing so I'd like to get that sorted out asap.

Yea, ducts would definitely make a big difference. Might also consider building yourself a sump out of 3 inch aluminum tubing for some additional oil capacity

My grandmother (seriously!) had a '69 Dodge charger that I used to dream of owning. When I first got my license I took it to my high school parking lot and did 0 to 80 mph and back to zero in the length of a very, very small parking lot...that's my short list.

No, I'll eventually get a 430 or something drive it a while and decide it's inferior to the FD and will need this thread as an outlet to post the results of my disatisifaction

Smile 2013 Viper

The new Viper looks interesting. Took me a while to get used to the front end of the car but I think I like it Otherwise I think it is gorgeous. Too bad it's gonna be $$$. I bet it will be close to $100k.

2013 SRT Viper - Top Speed

For that price, id get the ZR1.

Then again i may be biased on the LS platform

The looks on the new viper is stunning though.

The GTS version of the viper is ~$125K. You are out of your mind to pick a zr1 over the new viper, now it all makes sense why you don't like asian women Rob

All the GTS version of the SRT viper has are light interior and exterior accents.

Plus they only extracted 640hp out of that MASSIVE 8.4 liter v10??

The ZR1 makes that much from a 6.2 V8. The LS9 is seriously a true true true competitor.

It also makes its peak torque much eariler in the revs, making it a broader range. INstant torque whenever the hell you need it.

Its not just some C6, this is the crown jewel of muscle cars.

And yes i still am not attracted to asian girls. Give me a hot white chick and ill be happy.

What you said in red states that the larger engine is inferior because it produces the same HP as the smaller engine. The reason the smaller engine makes more horsepower is because of the supercharger.

So why do you state "Plus they only extracted 640hp out of that MASSIVE 8.4 liter v10?? if the engine in question is an N/A engine.

And yes I am pointing out the FI but not siding with it just stating facts.

I never said it was inferior, i was questioning why they only extract 640 from a 8.4 v10 while the ZR1 can do that much from a 6.2???

That whole post was to point out, that your post was in the same sense from the other thread where i was saying for 2500 bucks you can net 50rwhp from an LS, and you said for cheaper you can get the same in a sequential FD.

Why is that? Oh yeah because FD's are FI.

btw, lets compare 2006 models, the C6Z is rated at 505hp, NA, while being only 7.0 liter, and the norm SRT makes 500-510 from its 8.3 v10.

Both NA now, and the Z is lighter. and gets 29mpg on the highway

The fact you are questioning why a smaller FI car Vs a larger N/A car makes the same power suggests you believe the larger engine is inferior. To support this and my comments you use the the word "only" when describing the power output and later use the word"massive" when refering to the displacement. If that does not insinuate that you believe the smaller engine is superior then I dont know what would.

Now you are changing your comparison because you realized that your first comparison to try and prove the inferiority of the Viper engine did not work. You just indirectly admitted I was right. Thanks.

Who seriously cares about Mpg when spending 100k+ on a car? I can not see anybody purchasing the Corvette over the viper solely because the Corvette gets better MPG. Surely you can not really think that?

Hahah you do like to disect posts when you have no room to play with.

The displacement was to get your attention..I never mentioned the rotary's displacement?

It was about FI vs NA. Remember 70rwhp for 2500 bucks for the fd vs 50rwhp or 2500 bucks for the ls? You "indirectly" stated more power is reached for the same dollar amount knowing its FI, the KEY reason why that's possible..

Then pointed out "GM put a supercharger on it, what do you expect?"

See the pattern?

So while you say more power can be had for the fd for the same money, you know why the ls9 makes the same HP as the viper it being 6.2 v8.

Had nothing to do with the vette/viper. I made that post because of the other thread.

Surprised you didn't catch that..

If you had to give up your FD-by5wo.jpg

Because it is an unreasonable question, I would only replace my rx-7 with an unreasonable car. and then keep both.

Exactly larger power can be had with the FD, how is irrevelant. You made it sound like spending $2500 dollars and gaining 50rwhp is something amazing when in reality you can do that with an FD for less.

In the other thread you mentioned that is is sad that the viper only has the same power as the ls9, I told you why (supercharger). Remember? Then you realized that comparasion was stupid and tried to change the subject. That is what happened.

Surprised you didn't catch that.. I did catch it that was the reason for me to inform you why there is a huge power difference. Thats why I posted in that thread initially.

I am done with this retarded argument. I know I proved my point, there is no need for me to post anymore, and clog up this thread. I am done. Goodnight.

rdahm, nice diablo, it is about time you posted some pics.
