Hey all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I have searched and unable to find whether there is any difference for the headliner depending on the model, e.g., base, R, or touring.

From what I have gathered, the base with cloth seats has a cloth headliner and the touring has a vinyl/leather headliner to match the seats. I have been unable to determine if the base and R models share the same headliner or if the materials are different.

Any insight is appreciated.

 

Never heard of a cloth headliner in a FD. As far as I know the only differences in headliners is slick top vs sunroof, and the color (black, tan, red). As far as seats, base were cloth, R models were suede, and touring was leather. However I've heard you could option leather seats in other models through the dealer

 

i am not sure of the actual material, but the touring headliner of leather/vinyl appears different than a base model and R models.

 

the head liner on my touring was plastic. Same as my R1

 

All FD headliners ( USDM 93-95 ) are the same.....sunroof or hardtop, tan/black/red..
