Engine spitting oil
Hi guys, recently did my first ever rebuild on a rotor engine, half bridgeport single turbo, starts up fine just oil spitting thru out exhaust, thick white smoke and wondering what's the issue causing it, not sure if it's the turbo causing it, bought it brand new via RotaryWorks

Do you have a restrictor on the turbo oil feed? It sounds like the turbo is leaking oil into your down pipe. On a side note, I’ve heard Rotary Works products are mostly rebranded “Ebay” parts. I’m not 100% sure but looking at their website seems to validate that.

Pull the turbo, loop or plug the coolant and oil lines, and run it. Have a fire extinguisher and hearing protection. See if it smokes when running without the turbo. If so you have an internal engine problem such as a pinched or incorrectly installed oil control ring or you ported into the oil control ring path. The later usually takes a number of miles to show up.

yes it does have a restrictor, I once started without turbo, smoke crazy, thought it's pretty normal to smoke that much as first rebuild start. I'm guessing it's the oil rings
