Dead flat compression

Searches resulted in situations with some compression but my case seems strange..

Long story short. I've been out of the game for a while but pick up A 93, single turbo, 5k on reman (illegidly). Had just driven it 1200 miles to get it home. Was omw home to oil change with 20w50 vr1 and a oem filter, and plugs

Do a half *** pull, fell something let loose. Get it home. Still starts just fine, Still idles, still drives...on 1 rotor. NO SMOKE.

Rear housing: 85-90-87 (ish) (lead and trail)
front housing: dead frigging flat. No reading. (Lead and trail)

Scoped the front: dirty as hell

Front plugs: rusty and wet. Lots of corrosion.

Predictions? - my gut is telling me something is off.... how can I fog It without a machine? Fuel system seems slapped on cuz the fpr is dangling. Alof of corners were cut on the engine... bolts are missing from throttle body, coolant block offs are rotting. Not exactly as advertised. imma take the upper intake off to inspect but I wanted some advice before I proceed.

What can pop loose on the REW blocks???

Thanks!

Most likely the front rotor totally let go. Broke an apex seal and that broken piece broke the other 2.

If the car has a hacked together fuel system that's most likely the root of the problem.

This is a good Opportunity to pull the engine, get it 100%, and go through everything else so it's all done right and solid.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! And, no, there's no "dump in magic potion and it will fix it" here - broken apex seals don't un-break. You need a rebuild.

Thanks

Dale, that's in line with what I was thinking. It's a moot point cuz the back was 80ish. I'm very excited to pull the motor and get everything back together with as much stainless and billet goodness as my pocket will allow!

You may want to start a build thread to document your project and also get feedback/help from others as well.

Good luck!

Yep, either broken apex seal or foreign object in the engine. Ouch!
