18 inch wheel fitment

Hi All,

I have finally got the time to get my FD back on the road. Have just replaced some bushes, new radiator, pads and fluids. I also need some new tires but thought I would look at also getting some new wheels while I was getting tires.

I don't have a big budget so I was looking at the Enkei RPF1 as they are a forged rim and pretty easy to come by.

I as looking at 18 inch rims but I get lost when looking at widths and offsets.

I really want to avoid any form of rubbing and also avoid using spacers if possible, happy to get guards rolled if I need to.

Wondering if others can share their experiences with regards to 18inch wheels and fitment.

Cheers,

Isaac

Hi Isaac,

This is a very common question that has been discussed many times here on the forum over the last 20+ years.

There is a sub-forum specifically for suspension/wheels/brakes which has some useful sticky threads:

https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...sizing-416251/

https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...ide-fd-892901/

(This link above actually mentions the exact same rim you are interested in, Enkei RPF1, post #3)

Here is a wheel size photo thread, an incredible resource as well for wheel sizing:

https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...itment-895289/

Another useful method is to simply google search certain terms while using the rx7club prefix i.e.:

“rx7club FD Rpf1”
”rx7club FD wheel offset“

This will give you plenty of results which you can research and I’m sure you will find your answer.

good luck!
