Please help me decide by your vote: Which Wheel for my FD?

Please pick either A or B, or list in a post an alternative which costs less than $200 per wheel. The wheel size is 18x8. See attachment below for images of both wheels.

A. MB Motoring Rev

B. TSW Sting

Thanks for your opinion on my choice!

The A would look good because of the lip. But the way they curve in early will make them look much smaller than 18's. The spoke is short. The B wheel is basically a No Lip wheel and I tend to lean toward wheels with a Lip. Although I like a thinner spoke wheel. I dont care for either. There has to be better choices for 200 per wheel. I would suggest buying a used set of high end wheels for a big discount. Cheap always looks cheap. The FD being somewhat of a high end car looks cheapened by Honda class wheels. Not busting your chops as I know we all have a budget. I would keep looking until you found a great deal on better wheels. Check out forsale section for good deals.

First, thanks for the feedback. I do appreciate it.

Unfortunately, this is now my primary car, and I need to get it inspected with some new wheels(2 of the originals are cracked) and tires, and exhaust, and... that's why my budget and especially CHOICE is limited. I have approved credit from Discount Tire for $1200 and that is what I'd like to stay close to in order to get my tires and wheels... ugh. Thanks...

If you have to do it now on credit from discount tire for less than 1200, go with 17's instead of 18's. They're lighter and less expensive!

check to make sure offsets work.

I know, you said 200, but these aren't much over.

5zigen Typhoon
17x8
17x9

Enkei RPM2
17x8
17x9

Racing Sparco NT-R
17x8
17x9 (SleepR1 fitment would be nice with these - approx $1550 with crappy tires - 17.2 lbs each wheel)

17x8 racing sparco tarmac (don't think they'll look that good on an FD, but it's better than mb motoring - yack)

Use http://www.discounttiredirect.com to figure out what you want. Then have the store order it for you. If you ask, they can order you anything - including work, ssr, advan, whatever.

Hell, I'd look like a silly dorifto king and just get 2 wheels/tires now (utilizing the 2 straight stock rims, and 2 best tires - assuming they'll pass inspection) if it meant not wasting money on a crappy setup. Then pick up the other pair when money permits.

Buy these wheels: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=203492

These are good looking, light wheels. Btw, I know the seller he's a good guy.

Neither. Both are too narrow. You need at least 9-inch wide for 18s on an FD. Try the Racing Sparco-NTs

Sorry, but the Sparco NTs are non-starters since they are available only in black and bronze. My single wheel color choice is silver.

I think I'm gonna get the 5Zigen Copse18x8 wheels(19lbs) with some Yoko 235/40-18 es-100s.

Here is a mock up of what the car might look like with the 5Zigens.

Neither but I'd go for A over B, you gotta have a lip on RWD cars!

You didn't have to give us some story, just so you could get 18's.
