ITB's? awesome! can't wait to see/heard it. how do u like the 90mm TB? i was going to install one but wasnt sure if it was going to make a difference in my setup. don't u think u should re-route the intake piping to a place where u get cold air and not hot air from the radiator fans

Carlos... No one has ever played with the intake side of a turbo 3 rotor. I realized after making my bigger plenum that it would help a turbo 3 rotor. If you ever wanted to try it, let me know and I'll send it down to you. Just a big throttle body and the plenum should at about 50-75 rwhp to your setup.
I am thinking about going with 6 small ITB's instead of 3 larger ones. It seems like a simpler solution to me, but I've only seen one done that way and can't find anything on it. As far as the ducting and all. I was going to tilt the rad back and create a duct for it, but don;t need that with the ITB's, so I'm not going to bother with an interim solution. Runs fine the way it is...
ShiftRx7... Thanks. I love the NA setup. I think I have figured out how to do an NA 3 rotor conversion for about $15-17,000 plus the 13b in trade. So, its not that bad. I spent more than a few times that figuring things out... so far.

That's a very interesting idea. Are you going to use a plenum over the ITB's or just run them straight? Either way I bet the sound it makes alone will be worth it.
I wonder if the reason that the ITB's aren't popular is because of the way that air travels differently through the intake of an NA rotary engine as opposed to an NA piston engine? I'm referring to the pulses of air that reverse direction and travel back up the intake runner as the rotor passes the intake port on the compression stroke.

Love the color combo Gordon (black UIM with silver intake piping). I'm going a similar route with a wrinkle black powdercoat finish to the UIM, TB, and TB elbow with the rest of the piping being polished aluminum. I was curious how it look so I'm glad you posted that picture.

Rotarymaz... thanks. I am still playing with it and major redo in October for itb's and exhaust and moving alternator over compressor since no intake.
Godsquadmandrake... I think there are just so few NA 3 rotors around and we are all still experimenting with what works. Logan has run itb's on his for 2-3 years now making 348-428 whp. Sound will be incredible and worth the effort.
Jose... thanks a lot.
Matt... Looks clean. Like alternator redlo. Putting mine over air compressor.
Silverturbod6port... Looking good. Maybe swap green filter or red?
FC3S1991... Complex build. More pix.
turbo8... Happy it was useful.
dvo... Nice. Clean. Simple. Not too many colors.

Guys, if you're going to quote a post with multiple pictures please show some consideration towards the rest of us and delete all but one pic so that we don't have to continuously scroll through the same pics over and over again.
Thanks

FC3S1991 - awesome engine bay. I've got a full set of 13b-re intakes but im too lazy to use them, due to yet another custom fuel rail and figuring how to mount up a different throttle body, the stock re one won't cut it. what tb did you end up using?
and to be honest, everyone's engine bay is awesome in their own way!
