can anyone identify what year this is from and if its turbo or not? because i cant tell if there is a knock sensor above the spark hole or not.if im notmistaken is this a 12a?

its deffinetly got a 1st gen front cover on it, but it looks to large to be a 12a, i could be wrong, the pictures are rather small

kicking your own butt for actually buying a 425 dollar rebuilt "13b" engine off ebay... priceless


frankly I would stay away from a rebuilt engine that low. The cheapest I've ever run into is 890 dollars, and that was just for new seals and gaskets.

 

It's not rebuilt, your just paying for the parts.

 

So what WTF is it?

Looks like a GSLSE engine, but with different (from stock) rotorhousings. They look like the 70's style 13B rotorhousings to me, but that is a pisspoor set of pictures.

I wouldnt touch that, personally. Says it has been ported, but no pics of the ports.
