WTF is up with this spring drop?

am I the only one that thinks this is a little wierd for a drop rate on these things

Spring Rate F/R 335 lb / 224 lb
Drop F/R 1.2 In / 2.0 In

The RS*R Race springs for the FC

I like the stiff spring rate but why is it dropped 1.2 in the front if its gonna drop it 2.0 in the back? I never noticed the FC sitting very high in back that much, considering all the other springs for the FC are around .8-1.2 inch drop on average. this one is 2?

does anyone have any other info on these things?

I've seen pics of cars with them on and the drop looks good. If you find someone that sells them and have them in stock or can get them in reasonable time post up a link please. Last time I heard they where either back ordered or not being made any more.

Well, it probably wont drop your 7 that much. The stock springs are old and sag, so your car is lower than it came stock.
I have RB springs on mine, the front looks fine but I think the rear needs to be alittle lower.

The drop looks good, I can't remember the thread, but someone posted a pic of theirs.

Also, if you do find a place that can get a hold of those springs (they ARE still being made), post a link, I'll order them too, immediately.

Cool, post the results please, I'd really appreciate it, as would many others, due to the fact that EVERYONE wants a set of these.

I have them and love them, the uneven drop is not noticable..your car looks level about 1,3/4 fingers in the front, and 2 fingers in the rear. between top of tire and fender edge. I have them with agxs... i'll start to look for pics of my car.

sweet deal

and I called one of the places and they said they wont have them for 1-2 months backorder maybe, he said to check again around then.

apparently RSR USA is out of stock of them currently, so they are not ordering them until they come in stock.

Will the RSR Race Springs fit my 87 GXL, even though it says its for the 88-91 TII ? Is there really a difference between the two models of the FC in terms of suspension setup?

I hope so to. When I went to look around RS*R's site they didn't even have the FC listed for race springs.

they were my original first choice, until I came across the RS*R. I've had alot of luck with their products in the past.

and the RS*R down springs are also the same deal. RS*R USA doesn't have it.

oh well it saves me money this way cause the tanabe ones are cheaper anyways
