vacuum line? its a very brittle plastic tube, leading to something under my fan

Be more specific. Take a picture of said tube and give us what year rx7, engine, and mods.

Edit: just noticed teh picture adn thats an OMP line.

it is your OMP line, it is used for lubricating the apex and side seals. you can find some stainless steel replacements around or you can repair them yourself with a DIY i saw on the forum a while back. at any rate the search function should get you the info you need to getting them replaced.

Ahhh, yeah that would be yoru OMP(oil metering pump) line. You have several options which have been covered before as far as replacement or removal of teh system to run premix

yup, you also have the choice to omit the system and run premix in your gas tank for lubrication, in my opinion, is better/safer anyways.
