Have you tried to replace the trailing arm? The drive axle on the screwed up side?

im thinking i might have a problem with one of the arms, maybe a traling arm, maybe a previous owner bounced off of a curb or something, but what do i check for?

Not sure how you can tell if the arm is tweaked. Might be easier to just replace the arm than ponder it's straightness.
