was this worth it?

i traded in my 1991 toyota celica plus $1000 for my RX-7. but i don't know if it was worth it or not.... The celica ran fine but was very weak. The RX-7 has 57 more HP and alot more torque. but the RX-7 needs new tires, struts/shocks, new exhaust, alot of interior work, and is now hardly starting, and is putting out blue exhaust smoke.... the good thing is a guy i know is selling an 86 for $400 dollars because it is no longer able to be titled. so i could buy it for parts. but was it worth the loss of my celica?

IHMO yes, all cars will have problems regardless. My mom's Focus is home to one every month or so. Pick up that other car and use what you can to restore the other, plus this site's classifieds is home to many parts that you could use.

the RX-7 is exactly the same as mine... except its automatic, has back seats, and is gold.... and has the original rims which i will probably use....

i need the front seats, which mach my front seats, the dash part around the radio and all the problem lights, and the wheels.....
