Is it worth it?

I have an 86 with the ugly red interior, worst of all I only have half of it. The entire hatch coverings are missing. I found a complete 90' GXL black leather interior on RX7world.com for 500$. It said on there that shipping would cost me 100$, now he sent me another E-mail saying that it is going to cost more like 200-300$ I have a receipt that says I paid for the product, and they already took the 600$ out of my credit card. My question is do you guys think it's worth paying the extra dollars for the whole interior? I personally think it's a bunch of BS that they are trying to charge me more now, and that they should just send it to me.

call your credit card fraud department bro. You might end up with the interior and your 600 bucks

You can buy my black interior set for $550 minus seats. From a 10th Anniversary too so its a no headache installation in an S4.

One catch, you got to pick it up on the west coast.

Pull the rest of your interior out, remove the sound deadening, paint with rustoleum VIOLA!

This one comes with seats and it's 50$ cheaper. What headaches might I encounter putting the S5 interior in an S4?

I like the rustoleum idea, if it weren't my only car.

There are lots of small things. Like the dash wiring is not the same between S4/S5. The S5 auto seat belts and A-pillars won't work on the S4. S5 headliner won't work since its too short. Plus there are a few more things that I forget about.

Dan is right, your going to have to play with some wires, solding wise otherwise you will cause yourself some more electrical headaches down the road switching to that S5 interior.

If it were me, I would get your money back and wait for a car in the area to show up that has an interior you want. Either junk yards, or parts car... and save your money until then, or find something else to spend it on... The car gets you around the same... just well looks more like metal instead of broken plastic.

The interior your looking at better be in good shape to pick it up for that price.. Id get dan's set if I had some cash... Maybe that blue see dan had.... hmm... the thoughts...
