Won't Start

soo .... im stumped.... have two 88 na in my garage and neither of them want to start. I've tried swapping spark plugs, plug wires, checking compression, swapping coils, checking fuel lines, adding gas..... only thing I can think of is the starter...... seeing as how it is getting gas. any thoughts?

Well, update. I got my car towed to a shop, and they said something about a, bare with me here...a "Coil Booster"? I don't think I heard it right. My friends say it's an "Ignition Coil" that I'm needing, and they say that's over $1000. I really HOPE that isn't what I need, since I don't have that kind of money. Does this sound right to anybody?

*edit* AH! Wow, this is a thread my roomate posted with similar title than the other thread I made. I was wondering about the in there....

I dont think it sounds right. Did you deflood the motor? Mine was doing the same thing today. I deflooded the engine and it starts and runs fine.

You haven't told us a thing about how the car behaves when you go to crank it. That makes it very hard to give you useful advice.

And get your car back from that shop before they dry-snort your wallet clean.

edit: This is Amur on another computer.

Have you tried this spray (I'm sorry I'm drawing a blank what it's called, I'll try to find out what it's called) basicly you spray it in the air box, assuming you arent using a cone and in anycase you can just spray the cone, but its just very flamable and will cause the motor to fire a few times. If that works you will know that the problem is fuel getting to the engine.
